My very old garage door would not open. I submitted a yelp request to Door Tech and within minutes on a Sunday, I got a message to call Oren. We discussed the situation and scheduled a time for a site inspection. Communication was great before the appointment - as we needed to make a few time changes - and then Oren was right on time. After looking at the door and talking through possible long term options, Oren offered to fix the immediate issue and a short while later the door was fully operable again. The price was very acceptable for the level of service and time spent. I was also given a reasonable quote to install a Garage Door opener and agreed to discuss options to upgrade the door as a follow up. Perfect interaction and service!

He replaced the broken pulleys and rollers, installed rods in the springs (a safety issue) and lubricated the system. The door is now balanced and running smoothly and more quietly. For over 15 years, we haven't had a car while living in Brooklyn. We're about to buy one, and we thought it would be a pretty good idea to make sure that the garage door works. I sent a blast on yelp, and connected with Oren. He was able to contact me within five minutes of my writing a note on yelp. He came over later in the day and completely fixed my problems. Here's a guy who knows his business, can work out both structural and electronic problems, and make your wife think that you know how to get problems fixed e.g. She said: "you really need to make sure that the garage door works."
